Precautions, bitch

Just listing out the mistakes I make so I don't make them again:

  1. Make sure your calculator's angle setting matches question's angle thing. Idiot.

  2. In the TE TM rectangular waveguide numerical, bro, convert the cm thing into meters. Or you'll be two orders of magnitude off.

  3. In Transmission Lines, when Power spent on load is to be found, forget the angles, just use the real parts:

    Pload=12Il2×Re[Zl]P_{load} = \frac{1}{2} |I_l|^2 \times Re[Z_l]

    Keep in mind, the value of IlI_l is the magnitude: Ir2+Ii2\sqrt{I_r^2 + I_i^2}, but that of ZlZ_l is just the real part of the complex number in cartesian form.
